comparison

I had the MXV4's on my stock rims. They are very good tires, great mix of comfort and performance...though def more towards comfort. They last a very long time, I think around 80,000 miles. That may be why they cost more.

it seems they perform about he same--but the michelin cost about twice as much...

tires you got?
hey Shing--
by chance, what type of tires do you have now on your Max?
I have read that the mxv4 seem to perform very horribly in wet and slushy conditions (which I am bound to see for about 3 months of the year).
I just don't feel too confident about my Firestones at this point--1500 miles and 2 tires have bubbles on the sidewall--but these sh30s do come with a warranty--and i noticed that in the cold the bubbles are not apparent--only when I have driven on the tire for some extensive period of time.
I called firestone and they said to bring it in...so I figured--sure--but how do they determine if it is workmanship or b/c I hit a freaking big-*** poth-hole in NYC?
They can just blame it on the latter--but I did buy road hazard though...but one thing is for sure--if they replace it--I'll just be getting the damn same old sh30's--which is somehting I have lost confidence in to say the least...
aieee...dilmemaa dileemmma.
thanks for the thought, Shing.
