Just re-wired my corner lights

I really put this job off for a long time since I don't care much for cosmetic mods. But I must say after putting in the effort I'm pleased with the way it looks. I like having a "spot-light" effect on the side of the road. It took a few minutes to figure out how to remove the light housing, but the rest was cake. The directions I used made the whole process seem much more difficult than it really was. Now that I'm on the subject, will it be a problem running 27w all the time?

Overall I like the look and particularly the price.

Here is the best and simplest instructions. I did it to mine, took about ten minutes for both sides and it still works..

Take out the bulb, cut the nub that is nearest the glass of the lightbulb. Put the lightbulb back in reverse. Its done. Make sure to test it before you put everything back in.. Enjoy..

Looks nice with rewired fogs...

I got the instructions from maximadriver.com
The instructions were...okay. It's hard to visualize the procedure until you actually have the harness right in front of you.

The actual soldering was the easy part. Took about 2 min. per side. It was getting the damn light housing out of the car. After I noticed the location of the ball-in-socket joint the housing is attached to I was able to get a long scredriver in there and pop the ball out. I would still rate this job as easy.

I did the resoldering step instead of cutting off the nub. It does get pretty hot but I've not had any problems since.
I switched to amber light bulbs from clears after I had one cop look at me funny at a dwi roadside checkpoint.

Thks teeezmaxSE!
Those pics were taken New years day morning this year. I've since picked up Momo Sport rims late April.
I just crossed 75,000 kms on the odometer which translated is 46,602 miles.
