I was a Castrol GTX (non synthetic) user for my entire life with a liscense. Always got great oil analysis back on that stuff. I switched to the Syntec Blend and guess what.... The analysis came back like crap. There are a few guys on here that submitted analysis to Bill's spread sheet using the Syntec Blend, all of which look like crap. If I were you MaxSE99, I'd go back to the non synthetic Castrol 10W-30 or 5W-30.

The prof on the Syntec Blend is on paper and it ain't pretty!

The last sample I sent into Blackstone labs using Castrol Syntec Blend said the following:

Oil sampled had 3,000 miles on it, Blackstone said the ware on that oil was typical for an oil with well over 7,500 miles on it.
