Unless he took a typing class and some English 101 courses, I highly doubt it.

Either that or he's one heck of a good con.

I don't think he's RB.

I think peak power is around 10 fwhp.. but at redline I think its about 25 compared to your stock manifold. It gives you a more usable powerband.. compared to stock where your hp drops off severly after 5,600.. there is TONS of stuff on this just search under variable intake.

Quite a number of us in the org do... However, absolute certainty we do not have and besides, there is not much that can be done. I just hope that one day he will get what is coming to him...

Re: CAI. yeah, I'll probably keep it, even though I've thought about hybrid intake. If I lose a little up top, then so be it. I love the CAI and besides, I went through a lot of trouble getting that hole in the fender wall, dammit!!!

Forewarning:

I had my big ole 18" TSW's on and my Stereo System in the trunk.

My times sucked, but the difference with the MEVI was impressive.

your improvement is impressive. do you have more timeslips? i would like to see results from someone who has it in a 5 speed manual and goes to the track somewhat frequently and has experience at the strip. before and after. one night is not enough. of course if i happen to come up on extra cash i would like to be among the first avid track goers to run the VI

I was pretty proud of my RT's for it being the first time at the track.

you should be proud! i was too: 15.1@91mph with just a cone filter for engine mods. i was able to work it down to 14.6 with just the air filter after a few times. when the ypipe came on anything over a 14.5 was only ok. so one night is not enough. lose the subs and minidubs and hit the track.

Yup Yup!

Heading down there with the stock 15" steelies on Friday.

The subs will have to wait until I make a removable box. Right now it is bolted to the steel behind the back seat.

Question

What kind of fuel economy are you getting after the the VI manifold installation? The 5th gen is suppose to get slightly higher mileage than the 4th gen and I was wondering before I buy the manifold...my continuing quest for good mileage and performance.

I get a little better gas milage that was one thing I did check. Seemed to get about 2mpg-5mpg more. But, it is a hard thing to conserve fuel when you have that pull all the way to the redline. I was running empty a lot quicker when I first got it, but that was because I couldn't lay off the accelerator. But, I've become a little more discipline in driving since there first few weeks of having it.

Man that's some serious power. An SC'd Max just totally pulls from 3,200 on. I'm told the NA Max with MEVI continues to pull past 5K...in conjunction, that must be a monster.

Yep. Wait until I find my missing 3PSI of boost.

By the way, everyone - I think I found it. But I can't say what it is yet, and it's going to cost me some $$$.

Great to hear that you figured out what it might be...but unfortunate that it is going to cost you $$$.
