Hesitation

Hey guys,
Im wondering has anyone one had this prolem with their Maxima's. I have a 1995 Se 5spd and when im driving on the freeway and im going smoothly at about 60mph i will suddenly feel like ive completely lose power no gas coming in for a few seconds and then it will kick in and gain and run fine.It will also sometime do that to me on first gear when im at a stand still the car will go then start jerking like im a begginer 5spd driver. If anyone has any idea what the problem might be ill appreciate it.

I'm going to take a guess and say you need a new fuel filter.

Ive already replaced fuel filter no change

is it a clutch slipping feeling?
