I can't say first hand, because I don't have them, but cattman coilovers will decrease ride quality while greatly increasing your handeling. But i'd say why spend all that money for coilovers when your main concern is the look you get from dropping your car. I'd just get new springs and shox( I think intrax will give you the lowest drop 2.25")and save the rest of the money for other mods

He's got ya there..

I'd definately go for the $800-900 spring/shocks combo (I haven't bought em yet so I don't know exact prices, I could be off by afew hundread hehe) and spend the rest on other stuff. But if Intrax's are 2.25, Coilovers should give you a 3" if I recall correctly. It's up to you, is 0.75" worth $600 bones? =)

the Intrax lowers 1.75"

Do you want your car to handle good or juss look good? if your only into the looks of it dont waste the money on Cattman Coilovers. If you want it to handle good and want the adjustablity then go ahead spend the money and get them.

Well, the ride is fine, it doesn't bother me at all except on one stretch of really bad highway by me. But we all have our different tolerances. But, if you're going to slam it, who knows. Doing that decreases your suspension travel, decreases the shocks ability to do their job, and shortens the life of the shock. You're on your own there, if you slam it it won't ride as good and you're going to put a lot more stress on your struts...

I wouldn't recommend 90 on surface streets...

... but on parking lots and Airport Taxiways, that's what I'd recommend... Cattman's moved me to the front of the pack.

That's a kind offer...

Decreasing life of shocks?

- Hey Deathwish, what's up? I understand how lowering the car will decrease the life of the shocks, but when they die, does Cattman or KYB have some sort of warranty to replace them? - Or are we on our own? How easy is it to replace them - or will they even die in the first place (Koni's supposedly never die)? Thanks! ;-)

Thanks...

... Yahoo had a function which allowed you to specify the sized of the pic but didn't link. When I went to Geocities the Yahoo pic was in the file structure at a reasonable sized but I've not found the same function for the pics I've uploaded through Geocities... I'll have to check it out when I get some extra time.

Sorry, time lapse problem... I acted too quickly... Sure, I'd be happy to but...

what do I do now? Should I re-link it? Will it automatically be resized or do you have to do it manually again? I'd planned to use different shots depending on the subject. Thought the three Maximas setting at the front of the grid was metaphoric of what coil-overs do for the performance of our cars...

Thanks again

You'd have to ask bryan. Since the KYB's are modified, they won't warranty them.
