Shocks/struts at Sears - any opinions??

I noticed that Sears occasionally has free installation on shocks and 1/2 price install on struts - what's the catch with this?? Has anyone worked at Sears that may have inside info on this? It otherwise sounds like a good deal to me. It used to be Sears shocks, now they use Monroe I think.

i think if you are gonna get some new struts, I think you should get some AGX, Koni's, or some more aggressive...

If you have a stock suspension and plan on keeping it stock, then the Monroe Sensatracs would be a good upgrade. You will feel a difference from the stock struts and it should be more than you need, if you stay stock.

The catch is that their regular price to install struts is an unbelievable ripoff at $80 PER STRUT.
