Im thinking of selling my max its a 98 gxe with 78,000 miles.
Mods include: kandy paint, Ground control/ koni supension, full stillen kit, 20" wheels, flip out clarion and kenwood tv, kenwood mp3 player, tv in steering wheel, brullen exaust w/ 2.5 inch pipe from the cat back Trenz top and bottom grill, drop in intake, wood grain including piece on steering wheel. car has leather, sunroof, spoiler, clear/red tails, clear bumper lens, no air bag on passenger side and tv on drivers side. front was wrecked but is fixed. i dont remember anything else. Tell me what you think the best price to ask if i try and sell it.

 

Your car is "GhettoGarized" with semi- high miles I would say 10,000

 

Despite the Gheto nature the miles aren't that high for such a reliable car. I would estimate that you could get 14,000 for it if you were patient. If your going to take out all your mods then I would drop the price to about 11,500-12,500.

With the "choices of modifications" made to the car (I won't use the g-word...to each his own ), I'd say the range you could get for it would be wide. If you found the right high school kid with the right parents, you could get a lot for it (probably 14-15k or something). If you took it to a dealership or tried to sell it to someone who was looking for a plain jane GXE, you would probably get under what a comparable stock GXE would run.

Does it come with the candyboi visor on the rearview?

 

It depends on the customer you're directing it to. Org member probably see more value in it for the modifications. Any avergae joe coudl probably cre less for the mods and such. I'd say the mileage is a tad high for a 98.

The are SOOO many stupid a$$ people on eBay that would pay anything for something like this....I assure you you could get around $15,000+. Post it on eBay if interested...try the market. My $.02

 

Check the blue book, I would say 9 or 10k. The general rule of thumb with aftermarket parts is that it does not raise the market value of the car(that really only matters if you are trading it in or selling to a dealer). If you are selling it yourself, it may make a difference. Btw, the miles are kind of high for a '98.

 

return it to stock and sell the the other stuff on ur own or ebay, whatever then sell ur car for about 10-11k i would say
