sorry only the first round people. the second group (which you are in) will be ordered on tomorrow. i'm gonna get a jump on your orders since there are a lot. there is about a 1 week turn around on the production (my friend), modification (me), and testing (me) and shipping (me). going to ask a friend to help to get them out faster to everyone. (i hate waiting for products after i pay, so i feel ya)

 

did you get them already? i'm thinking no. LOL i was about to say that was freakin fast! ahah well the LED bulbs stick out way too much. sooooo i take the liberty to sand them out flat for all the Lic plate orders (that's what's taking me a little more time) because i also fit them in my lic plate housing to make sure they fit..

what you have to do is sand out the edges of the black housing. you'll see when you take it out that there is a little bump around the whole thing that needs to be sanded off in order for the LED to fit in correctly. i'll show pics if anyone wants but it's fairly simple.

ALSO: GOOD NEWS!!!!! map lights also have an adapter! i had to redo them though...the positive and negative wires were backwards..... I assume everyone has the ends that look like the turn signal bulbs but a mini version correct?? i dont want to make the same mistake again..

Ouch i forgot to tell ya. The map light sizes are not rounded. that is actual size, so don't make board size larger than what i stated. The length is 2.72 and the width is 1.30 (This for '00-'01)

 

ok well the board is 1.38x1.38 to the T. BUT from the pictures you can see that there is a llllittle border around the edge....the LEDs are as close as they can go. basically one dot apart... haha. but i think i'll be able to sand two sides down and make them fit....for the 5thgen sunroof guys. Im really sorry but i dont have anyone to test this on. but for the second order i'll ship them out anyways and if they really dont fit then ill refund the money and you can ship those back to me. that's how i will stand on the map lights for 5th gen buyers. the 5.5 and 5th gen w/out sunroof will fit perfectly fine.

 

i assume you got them. how do you like em?? and you used tehe 3M tape on the back so it doesn't move around much right? i forgot to mention the wedge adapters only have prongs on one side so if it doesnt light up try switching the wedge.

It does come with double sided tape.

 

Which have nothing to stick to....

 

For the dome put the board all the way to the end of the housing.

for the map lights. maybe a thin L-shaped bracket to create a small surface to stick to? that's my first thought. it doesn't need much, the 3M tape is really strong.

As for other cars. I'd have to talk to my friend from my understanding they have specific board sizes. do you have the interior measurements? PM me about this maximo-SE

 

Invoices for the 2nd round will come out during this week. i was informed because of the holidays there might be a slight lag in production. vacation time, family time. etc. please be patient.

 

Unfortunately, I have yet to receive my lights I'm expecting Lic. plate light(s). But for those of you who have, would you please post some pics so we can see the end result. From what I've been reading, it sounds like all customers are happy with their products. Great job Maxima112
