I recently did a swap on my 2002 6speed max and I have the old motor FS. The motor has 190k. When it was on the car it started up just fine however it jumped timing as my mechanic said. Since I could not find a mechanic to put it back on timing I was forced to do a swap. Motor comes with everything you see in the picture exept alternator and O2 sensors.

This would be a good project motor for a 4th gen or to build it.

no offense dude but the asking price is a bit high for a motor with nearly 200k that has issues. you could buy one with no problems, half the mileage for about 200 more on car-part.com.

 

Thanks for your opinion man, to be honest the least i saw a motor for was no less than $1k. But maybe the prices have dropped.

I thought that for $400 bucks it wasn't a bad deal considering it comes with all sensor and everything. I mean if someone had extra loop laying around they could pick this motor up and built it. Throw in rods and pistons and cams and a list of goodies .....yea it would be a bad a$$ motor.

But hey I'll take a OBO too

 

I've been shopping for a 3.5, there going in my area with 11k-150k for 150-800 in running order with no issues, with everything on them. Not trying to **** on your parade but 400 is high for a motor with issues.

a good friend of mine just got a motor for $500 with 92k on it via cluster carfaxed the vin and last od reading was 85k.

I think you should adjust your price, but its your sale. just a heads up

The VQ35 is a non-interference motor. So no valve slapping.

If you would take $400 SHIPPED to 98409 you might have a buyer for the motor.
