Power rod slides out out the drivers side. Unbolt the VIAS box, pull it off, and youll see it. Dont forget to unscrew the opposite side first. (passenger side of IM) Skim through the past posts of this thread. I posted pics and a mini how to.

His BOPs would work on yours but like he said, hes sold out. If your VIAS box is busted, I have a set I can sell you. Everythings in well working order.

I have enough metal to make one more and I was going to save that for myself but I'll just make one this weekend and sell it.

great product man, it fixed my idle issue and the top end is insane, well maybe cuz i also put the cattman headers on at the same time. either way i know it helped out, when i pulled out the rod...... every DE-K should get this...

 

Headers helped a bit but not too much since you had a y pipe before already. Deleting VIAS/power rod is where those gains are coming from!! Whip is sick btw!

 

The idle thing must be a by product cause a local member with a supercharged 5gen said the samething. He also said he didn't lose a low end but being boosted doesn't hurt either. Also that the topend is crazy

 

u got any more yet??? will it fit my 99 max with stock manifold or i need the 00vi one i have the 00vi one but havent installed it missing throttle spacer n rear coil packs

like stated before this is for a 00vi intake, no I don't have anymore yet, I have some in 1-2weeks, what do you need a tb spacer for and I may have a dek rear valve cover and coils forsale soon

 

i have the stock throtle from my 99 i either need a spacer or buy the newer throtle and i need the plate for idle control im new to this site let me know

 

I would just get a dek tb and mod the de valve cover to fit

 

BTW going to place a order for more metal tonight will have enough to make two more plates

Also for another 5bucks I can polish up the plate too

Just out of curiosity, has anyone done any before and after dyno's?

 

I think a few people have dyno's with their power rod removed but I personally have not and won't n/a since the day after I buy my car it will be boosted. My turbo kit will be finished this weekend and have all the parts to put it on right now

I am about to Paypal you. One thing I'm wondering, once the power rod and the actuator or whatever that part is called, what do you do with the vacuum hoses ? Do you just block it and call it a day ?

It actually comes out the passenger side. If it was to come out the drivers side why would they put a redundant block of on the passenger side?
