PA 00VI power rod block off plate
Its super easy.
-Unbolt the vias box and pull it out. Make sure the cup that holds the rod is in there (dont want that lil **** falling into the IM
)
-On the direct other side of the IM (passenger side), unscrew two screws on that little plate opposite the vias box.
-Pull out power rod (theres a chance you have clearance issues with the ac line being right there but nothing difficult)
-Put everything back together and enjoy.
I can snap pics for you if you like.

Its a little, metal cup that fits over the end of the powerrod. The cup should be attached to the vias box and turn when the actulator arm moves.
Fyi I would suggest just taking the uim either off or really lose and use vise grips on the screws

Got my blockoff plate and was hoping to install this weekend, but it's already 90 degrees outside and highs this weekend are going to be 95+, so I'll wait until next weekend to get it installed
I'm installing the block off plate this am, does anyone have had code since the removal of the 2 switch ? I'm thinking of leaving the switch plugged in so no code will show up. Also I see it was suggest to put RTV, is this silicon ? Sorry but my french brain doesn't have a clue of what is RTV. Lol
Edit: I went to the local store and got the RTV Gasket.

I was against this at first since I'm auto and was told I'd lose low end but I don't believe that and I know my VIAS is fuked my car has 190k and I'm not dealing with fixing it and having to worry about it going bad again!
