Scroll down to "NTB02-084 - 2002 Altima & Maxima: Howl noise when clutch is released." Now you can print out the TSB and bring it to the dealer.

Thanks for posting this link. I think I just figured out the problem I've been having with my car . . . I bet the dealer didn't "align" the flywheel with the crankshaft by using the "dowel" described in the TSB documentation when he did the install . . .
A word of advise to anyone getting their clutch and flywheel replaced under warranty: 1. Make sure your flywheel comes WITH the signal plate already installed, 2. Make sure the tech installs the flywheel by using a "dowel" to line it up properly with the hole in the crankshaft.
I am trying to determine if the flywheel is available without the signal plate for the crankshaft sensor or not.
Clutch Disk TSB
Has anyone had the clutch disk TSB (NTB02-084) done? My 6-spd just started making the howling noise a few weeks ago but it doesn't seem to affect anything else. Does anyone know if this is just an inconvenience thing or does this noise indicate a longevity issue with the clutch? I'm afraid to crack open the tranny unless it's necessary.

Newman - it is a low squeel that starts when you ride the clutch out on a hill or backing into drivieways. I dealt with this back in March. IF you (or anyone else in VA) get this, take it to Passport Nissan in Alexandria. Talk to Scott in service. he knows exactly what the issue is. He had to change mine out twice.
Good luck.
