Map Light Bulbs and Vanity Bulbs

Map Light Bulbs and Vanity Bulbs
After doing a search, I am still confused. I have all Polarg interior bulbs in my doors and overhead dome and love them. Now I want to match them with my map light and vanity lights. Here is the question:
I have seen the map light referred to as 1156. Well, Polarg has three different 1156 bulbs - PLG M7, PLG M8, and PLG M9. I believe M7 and M9 are white and M8 is yellow. The differnce in M7 and M9 is wattage - M7 = 21w and M8 = 27w.
Which one do I get?
Also, what the heck bulb goes in the vanity lights on the visors?

Try auto AUTOTOYS.COM go to the STORE & look under bubls. There's one called the BA9S or something like that. You will see a picture, it is the correct size for the maplights.

You're planning on running 21W in the maplights??? Good luck! you'll probably blow a fuse, and/or have something melt...
Buy the BA9S WHITE ones that autotoys has & you'll be set. Stick with the stock wattage & you should be good.

Hey Warren...
I finally did my Polarg dome light that I got from 'ya when my door lights came in this week, so they would all match, and they all look pimp. Thanks... By the way, I also ordered an extra pair of the door light type to fit in the dual license plate lights in the rear, and they look sweet there too, they match my rear clears with the Polargs nicely and give the plate an eerie UFO look late at night... Very integrated look. Now I just have to decide if I wanna do something crazy like put a bright red wedge bulb in my trunk lamp... That one trunk bulb and the map/vanity bulbs are the only ones on my car that I haven't changed out now...
