3rd gear all the way!!!! Screw fuel costs.

I thought the Audi A4 rear passenger seating was tight until I had a ride in an IS300. Looks are deceiving, one would think that ti would be more spacious but seating is very uncomfortable and very uncharacteristic of the Lexus marque which is known for comfort and spaciousness. The GS's are pretty much the same. Roofline was very low and rear passenger space was minimal for a car of that size and curb weight. Still one nice machine.

About the Tiburon, its good to see Hyundai making a valiant effort to the improve it's image but the Tiburon has terrible resale value and reliability which is why they need the awesome warranties. My neighbors daughter was left stranded on the highway for an entire night when for some unknown reason one of the planetary gears in the tranny called it quits. Hyundai had the car up and running by the next week after some serious action by her parents who by the way are lawyers but the point is you get what you pay for.

sure??? I believed they are redlined at 7600 and NA engine with a 210 hp with VVT-i (like vtech). IS300 throw a 227 when hits 6800.

Yes, but over there that 2.0 liter is a Turbo Alteeza. Puts down better numbers than the IS300.

IS300 is a brand new frame came out in '97. yes it is small for some people...but definitly not a glorified corolla or anything.

I drove the IS300 before I bought another max. I liked it. but it was too small and I thought it was a lesser car than the max. The car is just over-priced. What if Acura came out with a Civic that was called the "BFD - type C" would you go buy it just because you wanted a better "brand named" car??? He11 no you wouldn't, it is still just a Civic.

you are comparing two different cars...IS300 and a C coupe. But when it comes to the real C class...the C240 starts @ 28k? again....saying that IS300 is a corolla is like saying G35 (skyline) is a maxima (Cefiro).

Toyota has a great product, they just need to be realistic in their car. Like Benz did with their little car, they put it in the 20's, and Lexus needs to do the same with the IS300. Then it will be more cost effective to buy. The maority of their sales are on Yuppies who just want to own a Higher breanded car and have no clue they are driving a carolla.....

Cars like it: 1 -- maybe

So from all the posts so far,

There isn't really any other _sedan_ out there can be equipped with:
- V6
- 6-speed manual transmission
- limited slip differential

as:
m5=v8
Caddy CTS=5spd
Tiberon=coupe not a sedan
G35=no manual (coming soon?)
TL-S=no manual (coming soon?)
CL-S=coupe not a sedan
IS300=5spd

S4 came to be the closest but does it have limited slip differential?

Is there any other car with v6, 6spds, and LSDF ?
