Look What Some Moron Did In The Parking Lot

It may be a "small" scratch but I am seriously ****ed. I bet it was some jealous Civic Owner.

Get a quote from the dealer on how much to repair/repaint the strip. I might want to have mine redone because of similar damage.

But before you go, try some tar remover to see if that will come off. That may be from the rub strip on the bumper.

The damage seems to be confined to the strip, right? Should be relatively reasonable to fix. Plus you can just drop that piece off and leave it with them.....right?

I checked if the paint was off or if something else was on top of it. Sadly, it was the paint that peeled off. I will be going to the dealer when my car hits 3000 miles. Thanks

That strip is held on with adhesive. You may just need to buy a new strip. You can have it paited and reattach it yourself.

same thing...it's an indian family...so it's "ours"

they never use it too (not because of me)...it just sits in the driveway or garage...they don't like it because of the gas mileage and they only bring it to family parties or places to eat...not to the mall because I think I made them paranoid too about the HID theft

I remember when I brought it to the dealer too for the first oil change...he told me to go to a body shop (ironic isnt it)

Don't feel bad, but atleast this guy reported it. Maybe on my new bumper will have better paint.

Man, i feel for ya. The other night, I came out of Walmart to see a shopping cart resting on my car. It left two big dents. I parked at the very far corner of the lot (no slope or anything). So basically, someone wanted to see if they could push a cart really hard and hit my car. Man, I wish I could track these f**kers down.

I would love for someone to develop a webcam-type device that could be mounted in your car so you could see the ****** who mess with your car when it is unoccupied. Such a device could also be operated while driving so you could generate photographic evidence of lying scumbags who run red lights and hit you only to deny it later on, raising your insurance rates. Yes, I am bitter.

Dang!! That is one of my pet peeves with people who don't know how to park a damn car!!!! ding, nick, minor stratch, it still cost people money when it comes to their baby (cars). I try to park far away from other people where you go shopping.

Think my dealer charged me $50 to repaint the strip while they were repainting the hood - it's flawless now (until the next *** wipe...)
