The '03 comes w/ a plastic grill type in the front valance...if you think about this can stop/slow down HID theft on the Maximas. Because I remember reading here & couple friends told me that the Maxima hood can be opened up by reaching thru the front valance up & pulling a wire or something
--So do you think Nissan did that change for that reason?--

those big *** gaps between the plastic valences of the stock grill are a dang good reason to invest in an aftermarket grill like the streetscenes

the combination of the streetscenes and the stock grill makes it difficult to poke anything up in there to release the hood latch...(which probably means that they will break the damn window to get in the car)

damned if you do and damned if you don't

bigdogjonx/dixit has a good writeup on how to install the SS grill without removing the factory grill

SS grill also cut down on the number of leaves and bugs that I found in my engine bay so it stays cleaner

oh yeah....looks good too!!!
