Tire Rotation has thrown steering off
I have a 02 Max SE with 20,000 miles. I had the tires rotated at 9,000 and again at 19,000. (i know, not a good schedule) After the second rotation, the steering wheel needed to be tilted to drive straight. Going back to the dealer the next week thinking all i needed was an alignment, he told me that the front left tie rod was bent. I can't imagine that I hit a pot hole that hard to bend this. Has anyone ran into this type of situation. My skepticism comes from the fact that the car drove perfectly fine before I brought it in. It was like this immediately after I drove it away from the dealer. If it was bent in the first place, wouldnt' I have noticed it right when "supposedly" bent the tie rod. I'm thinking about having a second opinion.

checked out the tie rod myself and they were fine. Took it into an alighnment specialist and he said the tie rod was fine and all it needed was a front end alignment. I called the dealer back and asked him why they told me I had a bent rod when all i needed was an alignment. After about 20 minutes of debating, he finally realized that he was caught lieing and refunded my money for the parts that I had to PREPAY for. I plan on talking to the GM and writing a letter to Nissan Corporate (anyone have the address)
In case anyone is from the area, stay away from Woodfield Nissan in Hoffman Estates, IL. They'll sell you parts you don't need
