Walked from a Mercedes C230K
Walked from a Mercedes C230K
I was driving on the freeway on Saturday evening and I inadvertently cut off some dude in a brand new hatchback C230K (I think that's the model #- It is the really ugly 2 door Mercedes hatchback).
Anyhow, the guy gets mad and pulls right up on my tail- like inches away. Normally in this situation, I would just slam my brakes and scare the crap out of him, but I figured I'd give him a run for his money.
I threw it in third gear from an 80 mph roll and punched it. He followed suit, but couldn't keep up. He changed lanes thinking he would try and pass me (I assume), but I still slowly pulled away from him. I shut it down at about 105 mph and he was at least 5 car lengths back.
From what I saw, he was accelerating the whole time. Is this a legit kill? Or should he have smoked me? I have a slightly modded 2K 5 speed. I thought he would have been quicker.

The little run you had on the highway = the street race = the party. I meant to say, you had already won the race before he even showed up.

In all honesty, it was more like 7-10 car lengths, but I didn't want to get flamed.

The Kompressor engines are relatively slow (for the price) and surprisingly noisey! You're paying for the status and service of the three pointed star on you hood.

NO E class is in the $25K range.
Let's make sure we are talking about the right models here.
