Alright - so I've read a lot of previous posts here and found good info on SES lights and their causes (thanks people). But I've had the light go on twice within a couple months and after having it checked (for free) at my local Autozone, it always came up with a 0 code! Has that happend to anyone before?? My car is a completely stock 2000 SE.
BTW, I had them reset it both times and it hasn't come back yet - at least for the past month.

well...when it comes with electric sensor, it is really unpredictable. It might not be your car's problem, but just a loose ground can trigger the sensor. If you really want to dig into this, the best source will be the dealer. If your car is still under warranty, have them check it and insist them to fix it.
I would try to get rid off it ASAP.....b/c in case something really happen...it's going to be the same light too.

Re: this can be common with bad coils..

As an extreme case, could the OBD II tester they use possibly be bad? I've ruled out operator error since two different people used it.
Thanks,
Bill
