Now that I know the Maxima has this fuel cutoff/hesitation problem, am I obligated to tell a potential buyer about this problem if I sell the car ? Selling the car is my last resort, as I am fighting for a refund. But I need to know what I need to do if I choose to sell. Nissan is adament that the Maxima does not have this fuel cutoff problem. I have repair orders that state that. But the car does hesitate under some driving condition.

I thinks its a don't ask/don't tell kinda thing. If they don't ask you, you don't need to disclose it.

If the person does come back, then you can always tell them Nissan said this is normal.
