I want to make my car feel as comfortable as possible. Rather than making it sporty, I'd like to soften the drive and make it feel more luxurious. I was thinking of maybe changing the springs, I don't really know what to do. I have a 2000 GXE with 16" tires. Any ideas?

don't change the springs

there are no other springs softer than the GXE's. about the only thing you can do is to dynomat the whole floor pan and around the wheel wells, and install thicker padding. it will help alot as far as sound goes. Maybe changing the tires to T-rated for touring, they are supposed to be better riding. other than that there's not much else.

Instead of 16" wheels, go for 15" wheels....They will give you a softer ride at the expense of handling.
