not worth it

When the splitfire plugs came out we ran them in a test engine at school (around 1994) vs regular plugs and there was no significant difference after a few runs. In my opinion they are not worth the money.

Since the 80's Bosch has been selling their platinum plugs. These days they go for $2. All platinum center electrode. Since about 1 year ago, Bosch released the Platinum +4, with more platinum and a Yttrium alloy ground electrodes (4 electrodes). I have them in my Camry V6, and in my opinion gives more bang for the buck compared to Denso Platinums and NGK Platinums, (which has platinum tips on the electrode and ground electrode). BTW the Bosch Plat's +4 are $6 each.

Hope that helps
