Ajustable shocks and winter : a no-no?

I talk to a mechanic today about ajustable shocks, and he told me not to use them in winter. Is it true? I agree it's surely not a wise idea to adjust them @ -10C (who would anyway ), but to avoid them entirely? What do you think, members of Northern US states and Canada ?

you shouldn't run into any problems. Tons of people, including myself, use adjustable shocks in cold weather. I've yet to see any shock problems due to cold weather.

I'd be curious what his reasoning is too.

Aw, dang it..it's simple...the temperature

differences will cause your car to wildly understeer in the summer and hideously oversteer in the winter...cant you figure this one out?

Devil made me do it....
