engine rumble
i have a 2k2 gle with about 7000 miles on it. with the A/C on, the car has a bit of a rumble at idle which it never used to do. with the a/c off or with the car in neutral, the rumble quiets down significantly. has anyone else noticed this and is it normal? what causes it?

yeah, i'm taking my car in for a service tomorrow, so i'll ask about that. i did a search on it, and didn't come up with anything definitive on how to do it. only some guy who raised it to 900rpm (from like 700), and his SES light came on a few days later. thanx anyway.

if that is it, i would take it in to nissan. I don't know what is involved. Maybe someone else has an answer

I noticed the same vibration thing with my 2K2 Max and figured it was due to the a/c compressor drawing power from the engine or something to that effect. But your right it doesn't nearly occur as bad when the car is in neutral or when the a/c is on. Just figured it to be normal engine vibration.
