Whirring noise from Bose 6 CD in dash

I did a search and could not find any similar postings. I have the Bose 6 CD in dash changer in my 02SE. Lately I've noticed that I can hear the whirring of the CD as it plays. I know this wasn't happening when I got the car and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if they tried to get it resolved? I have 7K miles on my car and I plan on taking it in to have them look at the problem. Thanks in advance.

Yet the case of a malfunctioning headunit strikes again. Definitely take it to the dealership, they should be pretty familiar with the problem by now.

Clarion seems to have done a bad job producing the headunits for Nissan these days.

Clarion makes the HU? I thought it was supposed to be a "Bose" system...

Bose just does the tuning in the car, the hardware is an OEM from Clarion.

I also have the bose, a couple of months ago, all the cds stopped working, it wouldn't play or eject, than it started working. So it's cool, its been working perfect, but now I have another problem.

As I take off and brake and go over potholes, the driver side speakers shut off, it's really annoying. Anyone ever had that problem?

expect the 1-3 month wait though for a replacement unit, and probable failure again in the replacement unit..

3rd time around, mine seems to be working as it should..
