There I was going to work as ussual and in my rear view I see a mean looking R1 and right beside him is a brand spanking new Vette (paper plates and all). Well, next thing I know I am stuck at a light with these two dummies revving each other out. When I light turns green I take off as normal and the two race off around me. Then the guy on the R1 starts weaving before he gets on the freeway to warm up his tires. As he's doing this the Vette behind him is doing the same thing. Well, the R1 starts weaving even more...making his weaves even wider. Next thing I know, the guy on the R1 is going down..tries to regroup and oversteers onto a curb and the Vette, who's roaring right behind veers off to the left to avoid him and slams into a parked car. The R1 goes down hard, picking up every piece of gravel as he slides over the pavement, causing instant road rash, that grossed me out majorly. The Vette's front end is smashed. Meanwhile, I am hard on the brakes and watching these two idiots pay dearly. Sorry for the length, but had to tell the story.

Try to keep up with a R1...um not in this life time if the guy knew how to ride at all. I think he would have blown the doors off of the Vette with ease.

Here are some of the stats that I know off the top of my head 385lbs (dry weight) 150HP at the crank and a 11,750 RPM redline. I think thats more than enough power to rack up some kills.

Not to get off the subject or anything, but as a motorcycle rider I belive there are two types of guys/girls that ride.
1. One that has crashed!
2. One that will crash!

u think the R1 would kill the vette????? you should be a little bit more sure of urself!!! it would go around the block 3 times before vette gets to the first light... lol... you cant compare a bike to a car...
i mean i know its absolutly no chance in hell that i would be a contender i just would want to see by how much i would lose.. i know its a lot but just to see how much would make me feel better

I am sure, but they taught us in Keith Codes Superbike school that a car with four wheels can take a turn faster than any bike can. Can you believe that one? BTW, I also own a CBR F4 so yeah I would know the capabilities of a bike vs Car.
