I was wondering this myself... let me know what you find out. And, for the most part (unless you drop like 3500 for QUALITY rims) stock rims are better in quality than aftermarket. I would never put aftermarkets on my ride, unless they were quality parts.

I think the bolt pattern and offset for most of the wheels in the Infiniti line are similar so that they can be swapped. I myself have seen the 02+ Q45 18" wheels on an old J30..
They are both RWD though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the 18" Q45 wheels the same as the 17" I35 wheels w/sport package? I doubt if the Q45 wheels will fit the max since the Q45 is RWD. Why not get the I35 wheels and give up the extra inch in diameter?.

lildanny61: yes they will fit the max, since I have them on my I30 and I30 is pretty much a maxima underneath different clothes.
I believe the offset is also 45, but because they are 18 x 7.5, they will stick out more (a lot closer to the fender) than the stock 17" wheels. They do not rub on stock sport suspension. One downside: these wheels are heavy. They look pretty good form certain angles and just ok from some other angles. But then again this is subjective, some will like it and some will think you can do better.
They do fill up the stock wheelgap slightly better. here is a link to mine: http://www.pbase.com/image/2608724/original
Just want to share some information with ya.
