Engine noise
I start the car this morning and what do I hear.......a ****ing knocking in the bottom end!!!! The noise only lasted 2 seconds but the car has only 28,000 on it!!!
Anyone else ever notice this?

it might be knocking to prevent detonation. do you run high octane gas or just regular. some people get away with running 87 but ive seen others that ping and knock if they fill up with the cheap stuff.

What oil and filter are you using and at what frequency are you changing them?
