I know youare only supposed to put them in autos, but I've heard people put them in manuals also. Anyone with this setup?

Every model I've ever seen says it is for automatics only. Hey, I just figured out one advantage my auto has over a stick

for it to work in a manual, u would have to defeat the clutch interlock safety feature, i think cars have it, b/c in my four wheel days, four wheelers would pull the clutch interlock fuse to crank there engine without lurching backwards...but then u have to remember to use the e-brake and not just park it in gear or you really will have to say "dude, where's my car?"

CLIFFORD SELLS THEM!

I had a clifford ACE7500 installed which works with the manual. I had circuit city do the installation for me. Works like a champ, just has a few built in precations that won't allow the car to be started while in gear.

Clifford works and works well, only problem is all the buttons you have to push to make it work. When you park your car you have to leave it in neutral with the ebrake on and push a button on the remote, leave the car, arm the car, push another button on the remote to stall your carm now you are ready to remote start. If you like this hassle, then this is a good setup for you. Just the facts.
