Impressions On Toyo Proxes Fz-4

Just got them installed today by a local shop near me.....WOW very imipressed... its like night and day comparing these 235/45 to the crap nankangs i had on the rims before... i had 17x8 rims and i was running a 215/45 tire.. wayy to small n uncomfortable ride but anyway its raining here and so far so good, i expect it to perform well on dry pavement as well, Ended up paying 525 for the tires with m/b tax and all

I put a set of FZ4's on my 99 and they were GREAT for 10k miles, then the noise got worse and woRSE and WORSE. I got rid of them with 1/2 the tread left because people kept asking what was wrong with my car. They made so much road noise I thought my whee bearings were shot but new tires and it was quiet again. Rotate very often and good luck.

30k treadwear warranty....pro-rated against a retail price, road noise alone is not warranty per Toyo. Good grip but NOISEY as Hella.
