Anyone replaced their windshield on their 5th. Genner Max.

My windshield has more ships than I'd care to ever have to see on any car. Would like to know if anyone here has replaced his or her windshield and how much out-of-pocket you have had to pay. I've owned at least a dozen car in the last twenty years and that has never been a problem. I'm not exactly sure when I'll be replacing my car so I'd like to start repairing what I can on it. Bought dimpled/slotted rotors fron www.racingconcepts.net and I absolutely love them. Replaced the Potenzas with Z-rated Michelins and have never enjoyed driving a car as much. Also need to have my front bumper repainted, anyone have any idea of price on that? Your help is greatly appreciated.

A lot of your windshield depends on your insurance and deductible. Mine was free and I get 5 windshields free per year. They consider it "acts of the road" or somethin like that, so it really just depends on that.

Thanks for the info. man, I have State Farm full coverage. I might just give them a call tomorrow and see what they have to say.

No prob and good luck. You shouldnt have hardly any out-of-pocket cost if thats the case.

It amazes me that people don't have full glass coverage these days. I have replaced mine twice now and I don't pay anything for it. They even come out to my house and give me free gift certificates to crappy restaurants and cheap gold necklaces!

For the $3/month, it's worth it.
