Diagram of Stock Deck non Bose system

I need a diagram of what the back of the non-bose factory deck looks like. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

haha, did you take those pics for me?! lol Thanks dude. I was looking more along the lines of like a manual sort of thing. Telling me what each pin and everything on the back of the deck does. I like visuals though too! Thanks!

yeah, the thing is just lying on the floor beside me

I figured you'd be looking for the wiring diagrams but shot it anyway. I'm not sure if it's going to be in the FSM though, as soon as i find the CD i'll look for it.

What do you have up your sleeves if you don't mind me asking?

Well last night my friend rolled up in his Mercedes ML320 with a familiar sound. The sound of SUBS. He had bought all of his stuff for pretty cheap off of ebay and it sounds hella good just with his stock deck. So...it inspired me to start looking also. I want to see how bad it sounds with the stock deck before I go out and drop 400 on a deck. He bought 2 Sony Xpold 12s, 900w peak each (yeah right haha) and a Lanzar 2-channel 1200W amp. I just went and looked on ebay and the same person he bought his 12s from is also selling the XS-L1246 12s w/ 1200w peak each (yeah right but still more peak than the 900w). I'm not sure which amp I'll get and I'm still in the beginning stages but I am getting closer and closer to a purchase.

In that case, you can always get a line level converter (spkr -> RCA) and go from there.

I used to run my Basslink in that configuration, but when my stock deck went kaput and couldn't wait several weeks i went ahead and got this. Best audio upgrade i've ever made on the Max The sound was decent with the stock headunit, but aftermarket always shines IMHO.

Did you have the bose stock head unit? Mine isn't the bose, or at least it doesn't say bose on it. lol Why did your deck go kaput. I'm afraid of something going kaput. haha Was it because of the subs or because of other reasons.

It's the non-Bose.

Well, first the CD player stopped working then the audio would just go out every now and then.

The dealership seemed to know there was a problem with the headunits they didn't even bother checking mine and just ordered a replacement right away.

my radio is acting weird and my dealer told me to get an alpine, i told him ill get 1 if he pays for it, he said no. but does the 7894 make the stock speakers sound better? because i dont plan on changing the mids and highs, i already have 2 10's.

Can't say though, i already had all my speakers replaced beforehand. But if the pre to post-Alpine SQ is any indication, the new headunit really made my Infinity's shine.

I'm thinking about buying 2 12inch Sony XS-L1246 but I need an amp to power them. My friend just bought a Lanzar 1200w 2channel amp for his 900 peak Sony subs and it sounds hella nice. Would you recommend the same amp for me? I'm looking for something that isn't too expensive as I'm on a pretty tight budget. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
