as long as theyre H$ size, they should work. the diff between the two is that plasmas are not as bright and have more blue/purple color to them.

Yes I put them in, I didnt notice any difference with stock, except for the slight blueness.

Do you know the kelvin rating for the super white / super plasma for the h4?

I did buy the h3 55w super white for the fogs.(didnt put in yet)

Hey guys , dont mean to be stupid but, how do you take of those rubber screw nuts which hold the splash guards, so you can install the H3 fogs?

u gotta get under the car... unscrew the 3 screws on each side and pop out the 3 plastic pushers on each side too... just get a flat screw driver and stick it in on the side and pull it down... they should just pop out... u dont have to take off all the plastic from under the car... u could just take off the left side and just slide/turn it out of the way and then do the same on the right side... no need to take the plastic off in the middle... then u have to unscrew the BLACK screw that is facing down right where u removed the plastic... do not touch the white/silver screw cause that one is just to adjust the light..

One more thing....

..you *may* have to forcefully remove the fog lamps through the front opening of the car by tapping on the whole assembly with something like a hammer - those bad boyz were in there pretty tight and after you remove that final screw, they still may not budge without some additional "persuasion"!

actually hammer isnt really needed... what has to be done is after you unscrew the fog lamp you look at the top right hand corner of the fog light assembly (thats for the left side, for the right side its on the top left hand corner of the assembly in the back)there is a plastic thing that has like a + shape in it and in the middle is a metal thing that goes in there... just push in that metal thing with a screw driver and the fog light assembly should fall out... just make sure to put ur hand on the other side cause it will fall out and fall on the floor and break. also remove the wire/plug before u pull it out...

thanks for all the help guys,

H3 Fogs

but I had a hard time putting in the left side, then the right side was more difficult, even with screwdriver and hammer, finally I went to the dealer and he finished the job. Its tough to work when its freezing outside. He charged me 30 bucks.

Like the lights though.

I really want to put some new headlamps in my max. Do you guys really recommend this setup or what? Is there a big difference in the amount of light? Or, do they at least put out the same amount of light, but look more like xenon bulbs? I think that I'm just looking for that cool look. Any help or comments would be totally appreciated. Thanks

Yes the lights are brighter, you can tell when you drive past everyone, and check out their lights.

I'm not so sure that they're brighter . . .

But they're certainly whiter. My wife's GXE has stock bulbs and while they seem to be about as bright as my 60/55w Super Whites, they have a definite yellowish cast to them. I vastly prefer my PIAAs.

Lights installed

Got the H4s Plasmas in, and it took a while to install the fogs. Finally got them in...once I figured out what I was doing, piece of cake. Installed the passenger side one in less than 10 minutes.

They look awesome..I love it!!
