Maxima 2003 cd changer: 3 questions

I just test drove a GLE with the bose in dash 6 disc changer. Love the changer, but would rather have one with the SE.

1. Has anyone successfully gotten this option (Titanium Edition), w/o sunroof?

2. Is there an add-on changer for the single disc, in dash head unit? If not, is anyone happy using an aftermarket FM modulated cd changer?

3. Do Cdrs get stuck in the head unit of the bose 6 disc changer as they do in the Infiniti G35?
Thanks for any info...

do 2k2 and 2k3 share the same HU? If so, I have 2k2 SE with in dash 6cd changer. All I've ever used is 80 min CD-R disks.

also, I thought titanium edition has sunroof built-in... I thought it was manditory for TE package.

I believe so because I saw "cartis's" car last night and it had a indash cd changer.

If you want the single disk in the front and a changer in the back you would be better off buying a used 2000-01 single disk bose HU from another member of off this board and buy a changer. You can pick up the changers new for ~$300 or ~$250 if you get the USA spec changer.

After reading some very informative posts on this site, I think I will just save the extra $$$ I would spend on the Bose system and sunroof, and invest later into a good mp3 player, and upgrade the speakers. Thanks for the info though...
