Simple Trick for HID Theft Prevention

I noticed that Nissan used simple, hex-head, 10 mm bolts to fasten down the HID's. I also noticed that they used smooth-top, Allen-keyed bolts to fasten down the totally useless engine cover.

JUST SWITCH 'EM! I did it today--no hood clearance problems at all. I'm guessing these thieves are carrying only the tools they need, so the odds are against them having a set of allen wrenches.

I know, I'm a genius--no need to thank me.

that is a good idea.

One main difference with the tamperproofs, they would be hard to turn with ANY tool and the sloped button head top is made to make it hard to grip them with vise grips.

Great idea for a 'quick remedy'. I just swapped them. Might be enough till I get Tim's.
