I'm ordering the new Injen CAI for my 2001 Maxima. It looks sharp, sounds great and isn't hard to install, plus best of all no cutting your car apart. For more information try searching for this msgbrd for other information.

Injen no doubt is good. But problem lies is that the main piping sits right behind the radiator. So the pipe gets VERY hot.
That is why I went Place Racing, Since I did not give a damn about drilling a 3" hole in the fender. Plus it gets cooler air. Dont matter now since it is being removed for some REAL HP mod.

The only problem is with CAI you could run into Hydrolock if your not careful. One of my friends has that on His Honda Civic and he can't drive in any kind of puddles, has to be careful. If anybody knows ways around it let me know.

i put it on yesterday, its not that hard, but be prepared to spend an hour or so putting it on if you have some automotive experience, if you don't, then you are better off getting a shop to do it. the best price is from adventon.com , if you are in so cali you can go pick it up, its in SAN DIMAS, and ask for GEORGE the sales rep, he's a great guy, and tell him that you heard about them from TEDDY on maxima.org
he might give you a discount if you mention me and maxima.org because he lives about 2 minutes away from me.
its definitely a better looking piece than the stillen or pop charger, and you get better throttle response. it also allows you to rev up close to redline where the stillen would make me shift around 6K rpms. and you don't have to drill a hole in the car either.
