anyone with a intake noticed that the grunt gets louder after a while...especialy at 3000 rpm or higher.....

how is the quality of the stock exhaust..?

 

the intakes do get louder as the rpm's climb up. more air is ingested

 

wat i meant was that when i first had the intake installed it wasn't that loud..but after a while it got louder...

 

well you said as the rpms climb up, sorry for the confusion, yea as the ecu learns about the new mod and gets used to it. so maybe right after you installed it, the ecu didn't pick it up right away and after driving a few miles, now it recognizes your intake and it sucks up more air. the same thing happened to me when i installed a stillen intake, and now that i put on my injen, its not that loud anymore. so i'll see if it gets louder with time.
