2002 steering wheel on a 2000

I have another question. Heh. I was wondering if the 2002 (i think even the 2001) steering wheel is different. I was wondering if the steering wheel would fit on a 2000 and if all the controls would work. like the stereo controls and the cruise. Is it easy to change over to the 2002 steering wheel and would it be expensive?

Thanks

Well...if you could find the wheel for cheap, I'm almost 100% positive of two things. The cruise control would work, but the radio controls would not. I remember someone asked this almost a year ago and someone mentioned that there is a wire run all the way to the factory headunit and that in 2K this "input" is non-existant. If you buy a new head unit, then I would say that this is probable. However, just buy an aftermarket radio with or remote. Better yet, work your arms and push the buttons .

LOL, yeah, I guess I could just reach for them buttons. I just think the steering wheel looks so much better cause of the cruise control is more built into the wheel, instead of sticking out like a sore thumb. Would that cruise control unit on a 2k1 and up fit on the 2000 steering wheel? If it would, that would save me a bundle
