The clutch on my Maxima is too soft. How can I make the clutch stiffer in my Maxima? If any one has any suggestions please email me.

According to my dealer, there only way to adjust it is to dismantle the tranny. I had my tranny replaced about 3 months after I got my car. I asked the dealer to actually raise the activate point of the clutch, since I was have to press it all the way to the floor. The tech at the dealership told me that he could make the height adjustment, but that there wasn't much they could do about the firmness. Until then, wait for an aftermarket clutch to arrive.
