Is this a solution for hid thefts?

There once was a company called Chapman who made hood locks. Are they still around. Have one of these installed. Also epoxy some sheet metal to the top of the lights to give them extra strength. If they cannot get the hood open I dont think they will be able to pull the lights out.

Are there any other companies that make hood locks for Maximas??

Better Solution

What you need to do is to ghetto up some high capacity capacitors like from a big *** sound system, have them juiced up and run some metal terminals by the light's hold down bolts. When they put a metallic tool near the lights and cross the leads ......

That will give their hearts a jump start
