Is it possible to get the LS400 HID's put into my car. They are so much brighter than ours and more blue. Is the bulb the same or are they different? Thanks guys.

 

brighter? not really.. more blue, sure.. will cost you about $250 for new burners.

BTW, the more blue they are the less bright they *really* are. A well designed reflector/projector probably has more to do with some cars higher light output.

Kinda like askin for a brighter flourscent bulb in your office.

 

Bro i think the 02'-03' Max HIDs are so cool. If you want nice HIDs though, go for Jaguar X-Type OMG! those are way cool, it beats anyone in the industry i think.. and thats including BMW or MB.

 

I thought the x had angel eye style lights which wont fit in the max?

 

no the x-type doesnt have angel eye style lights, their turn signal and headlight is in one circle and the park lights are in another.

Nope... the 'angel eye' lights are on BMW's... started with the 5 series but now featured throughout...

The brightest (claimed by company, and backed up by my humble opinion) are in the new Infiniti Q45... I think they're referred to as the "gattling gun" lights, but I think there's a fair chance you could fit them... It has 7 lenses and I think was the first optional bi-xenon outfit. Anyways, my .02

You could do it though, someone posted this webpage were some Japanese dude got some of the Q45's "gattlin' gun" lights and had them graphed into his GS400's(Aristo's) headlamp housing. It looked soooooo soooo very sweet. Must have been a pain in the butt though.

 

well I just want to replace out the bulb not the whole assembly. So has anyone tried putting in HID's from other car companies. I know someone on here swapped out TL lights for our Max lights. So if anyone has any experience with this it would be appreciated.

 

If they're the same size, then they'll be trouble free to attain and install.

 

and D2R burner should fit in the 2k2 housing
