5th gen offset questions

what's the max you guys can handle on an 18X7.5 rim? If the rim had a 45mm offset what size spacers would be needed. Gracias

trying to figure out why these rims... http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=154387 ...wouldn't fit a 5th gen. 45mm needs to be spaced out in the rear on a 3rd gen. Don't see why they were a problem for max34
