Can I get the hardwire kit anywhere besides escortradar.com?

 

interesting, I figured you just snip the car adapter piece off and stuck the wire to the fuse for the power socket and the other(black) to the ground.
Of well JDWhitney has done the hard wiring gizmo fix to his radar so ask him what he did.

I installed my hardwire kit yesterday. Yup, I had to pay the $30 too... Much better than a cord dragging across my dash.

 

if you got a tweeter or hifi buys near you try them. ask about the kit and when the guy brings it out tell him you want a discount. be bold about it. i got my 8500 and mute cord for $290 w/ tax.

Yes we do work on commision (unlike best buy that pays you close to min wage) Prices are usually not negotiable unless you find a lower price

see, this whomps. i find another tech toy hookup and can't use it cuz of distance. i think i need to move to a more hookup friendly area cuz charlotte ain't working. took me about 6 months to find that 8500 hookup.
