Tuff Fob!

The key and fob got washed with the laundry and everything is working well. Glad to know they are both waterproof.

A coworker dropped her altima keys in a deep puddle and they didn't work immeadiately thereafter. However they were fine at the end of the day after drying out.

I would think that they would have a small rubber seal, but perhaps not...

probably because the water grounded the whole thing so when it dried, it worked. Anyone care to test the waterproofness of an aftermarket alarm remote?

My Durango FOB was in sea water when I fell into the water getting off me sea-doo waverunner(the water was deeper than I thought at the ramp). The fob works fine, I thought it was done for.

By accident my fob fell in the cake mixed and was cooked inside the cake. Still worked like new!
