i lost the scv (speed control volume) function. I couldn't even find it anymore. I'm thinking its b/c they swap it out with 2k-2k1 ones?

you would also have lost the trip computer if they did that.

maybe they just didn't hook up the line for scv?
I read in the audio forums that the connection loops thru the HU.. I dont know why, but thats like the first post you see from someone who just put in an aftermarket unit, "where's my Trip computer?"
I think the connection is loose or unplugged. or you got some other whack refurb

Augh! I go in tomorrow for them to ID the problem and (most likely) order a HU replacement for the CD error. Can I insist on a new unit vs. refurbished? Does anyone have a happy Nissan service department story?
9 weeks and then they screw it up. I feel for you.

It took a week to get my replacement (refurbished) HU in, and they installed it this morning. Sure enough, I checked for the SCV and it's missing. I drove right back into the dealer bay and they checked the part numbers--they don't match. So, they're reinstalling my old, broken HU and reordering a new one. No news on when the correct HU will be in.
