Umm no. I actually meet a "few" cool guys from the .org. Also the .org really isn't a race forum although it is discussed. I have learned alot about my Max because of the .org. So your comment really has nothing to do with hanging out in a Wendy's parking lot with 16 year old kids with Civics etc..

I guess this thread will never die?

good run.

Aren't 2002 Auto run like mid to high 14s stock. So that should be pretty close to modded 2000 5-speed.
Ya generally up to the 1/4 mile mark after that the 5spd takes over.

"bunch of kids"..... you REALLY don't know...
"talking about cars" .... what are you doing now?
"going out racing" ...... "Chance encounters"

Most max driver are just like you profess to be. They don't want to screw up the vehicle, but 1/4 mile runs give a standard to compare by.
If you screw up, you hurt no one but yourself and maybe the other driver - you both know the risks. On the street - chance encounters - open up a whole different venue of risks for anyone around.

Going to a place designed for the legal running of your car at high speeds allows drivers to get a fix on what their vehicle can do w/o screwing up. Most of us don't hop down to the track every weekend, show pink slips, etc. We just want to know where we stand. If racing by starting from 0 - whatever scares you or just isn't what you care to do, that's cool. But don't stereotype safe racing.
You seem intelligent and know what you are about, different strokes and all that. It would be nice to see a slip so we can do safe comparisons from a country away, though. Your high traps and low 1/4 mile times would've put a lot of these conversations to bed.
This is just my opinion, Bugnout.

Blah blah blah read through the thread. I'm not the only one that has spanked a 2k2 3.5L 4spd auto on the highway. Sorry 3.5L 4spd guys keep on modding!

A 2K2 Auto will probably take you 99% of the time down the 1/4. For a man that likes to talk a lot I dont see any times for your car. The clutch, motor mounts, warranty etc. excuse is weak. The stock clutch wont get worn from making a few passes down the 1/4. Dave B has made a ton on his stock clutch and its still working fine. Motor mounts wont get broken, If you know how to launch. I highly doubt anyone from your dealership is going know that your car ran down the 1/4. Quit talking this and that and take it to the track. You probably wont because I have a feeling you arent a good driver.

No.
Theblue said he never had any problems as well. And his car doesn't run like it use to. There is no question that hard launches or clutch slips are bad for your car. No doubt!
I'm not kicking the crap out of my car to satisfy some kid who lives at home with his mommy and daddy. 90% of my driving is on the highway which means I will take a 2k2 auto 99.99% of the time.

Interesting.... Phatguy talks all this Shiet about not hitting the track, but in another forum he rides ethans nutz about going to the track and says that is the only place to prove your game..... Typical Hyporite!

MAX2000JP and Chi99Limited are BROTHERS
BriGuyMax locked up his Injectors using Nitrous.
Chi99Limited only has a intake and a Catback

therefore...

Thanks for clearing that up....Phatguy is just an idiot who cannot install a simple y-pipe himself so he is mad at the world. Installing Nitrous is way out of his league.....therefore he calls it rice juice.

BTW my brother has a y-pipe also.....

Talk is CHEAP!!!

This has to be the longest post I've ever seen in any forum. With as much BS posting as I've seen in ANY Honda forum. Bottomline: a Y2K/2K1 5sp IS an even match with a 2K2/3 Auto (manual tranny vs auto w/ extra 33hp). With equal mods, the VQ30 5G will have NOTHING for the VQ35DE 5G, despite the "tall gearing" of the 3.5 Auto.

That said, any of you Y2K/2K1 guys in the NYC area want to take a shot at my 2K2 Auto?? I'm stock (exc. for my Trust Strut Bar).

Your intelligence shows when you try to have an arguement. What does the fact that I live at home have to do with anything, especially Maximas. I go to school and commute to school, whats wrong with that? Let me ask you, do you have a College Degree.

Again, You were banned once for being an idiot under the name PhatGuy and obviously things havent changed. In the eyes of many here you are an idiot. You contradict yourself with every post. First you rag on members saying to go the the track and post videos of kills Then you have the nerve to claim you beat a Altima 3.5 by 6 carlengths without any proof.
