I dont remember.. at the time, mine was squealing so easy to find

the troubleshooting procedure says to check the hazard switch connection first. you been in the center console recently? may be loose.

then its fuse..

then finally the relay and checking for good grounds on the relay (the harness)

see anything labeled M21 ?

should be to the right of the fuse box under the dash. in fact, they creased up my leather seat while laying upside down accessing it.

It took 3 trips to get this thing replaced, they said it was functional - though it was squealing like a pig, so to speak. Finally I said, "ok, its a $7 relay.. just sell it to me.. I can see the damn thing.. I'll change it myself." Thats when they offered to go ahead and do it.. In retrospect, I wish I had done it myself, my seat would look better now and i wouldnt have to worry about it cracking someday.

My hazards work fine, its only when I go to arm the car, and get no lights flashing. So, i'm thinking I could have blown something when i was putting in my led's for the side mirrors...in fact i know I blew a couple fuses when i did it...but those have been replaced and all that is left is this damn flasher for the alarm.
