Roaddddd Trip!
I just took one this weekend with three other people. I drove the max from DC to a place 1 hr north of Philly. I got nothing but compliments from my passengers The car rode great and was roomy enough for everyone. I got 420 miles on 15 gallons of gas while driving at speeds of 65-80 (I-95) and about 600 lbs in passengers and cargo. I'm very happy with the gas milage. One the way back we saw a Ford Expedition LIMO and, later, a train of 8 corvettes cruising down 95
I love my max

BTW, I saw a light blue tinted 5th gen (with bra?) on the way home. Is that anyone here?

Yeah, taking long road trips in the Maxima is nice. I frequently go back and forth between my job in the San Francisco Bay Area and my house in Las Vegas (no, that's not my daily commute ), and I love the ride. Nice, comfy, and quick.
I don't get the kind of gas milage you got, but then I have an automagic, and I tend to drive between 70MPH to 90MPH. When nobody is looking, I gun it up between 90MPH and 110MPH.
Of course, Vegas is THE town to find all the Expedition limos you can dream of, exotic car rentals, and endless numbers of very nice cars. You gotta look cool in Vegas, and as long as you have the dough, it's all for you.

I remember a couple of months ago taking the Max from CT to Fla., about 1250 miles each way. The ride was comfortable and made it seem less harsh. Makes me glad I bought the Max.
