any opinions on these brands?

I am not looking for a racing tire just something that is pretty decent an lasts long...

is there much of a difference between the 235-50 and 235-45?

Crap. All of them. And you shouldn't mount a 235 45 on a 7" wide wheel. But people have done it before and not died yet........

If I had to buy one of them, I'd go with the Falkens. I would cut my ***** off with a rusted hacksaw before I would buy Kuhmos again.

 

if i were you, id go with the kumho or coopers. they are both within spec for the stock rim which i assume you have. the others are out of spec and while many run them they are still out of spec. i dont feel like being the one to open up that can of beans again though. i was not aware that cooper made a tire in that size so they may be worth taking a look at. got a link to a picture?

 

rusted hacksaw, huh? guess you really don't like'em. personally, i'd go w/ the doo doo tires than go the hacksaw route, but to each his own.
